Scott Sub 30.
This bike must be ridden to be appreciated. If you want a bike that you can use for recreational rides, exploring bike paths, maybe riding to work, this bike is ideal. The name SUB stands for Speed Utility Bike, which pretty much sums it up. It is fast and light, so can be ridden longer distances rapidly when desired, or used for leisurely cruising along the bike paths, or daily commuting if needed. The bike is deceptively fast (read light and easy to push if that is your preference). It is comfortable, but if you would like to sit upright, with a suspension to soak up all the imperfections in the road or path a hybrid will be more suitable. This is more for someone desiring a comfortable bike, but with emphasis on being light and easy to push. The bike looks great. It has tubing that is flattened off at the top, giving a distinctive appearance, compared to the usual rounded tubing. The paint finish and decals look great. The bike actually looks as good as it rides. The handlebars can be raised or lowered with an allen key, so the riding position can be quickly and easily adjusted to suit your prefererence. The handlebars, stem and seat pillar are all of a high standard and look really good in their matt black finish. The wheels have a deep, strongrim, fitted with Continental Contact tyres, so the bike rolls easily, and can withstand some pretty severe potholes.
This bike has been a great seller for us and we are now toward the end of the run with only a few in the Large size left in stock. So if you like the sound of the Scott Sub 30 and you are around the height range of 175cm to 195 cm, call in for a look. But be quick.
