Giant Transend 2 Comfort Bike

This would have to be one of the most excellent examples of value for money in the commuting/touring bike sector. To get this much bike for only $399 is amazing but supply is very limited in quantity and size range availability. Even just the mud guards and rack easily add up to $150 of value, so with an excellent quality, all aluminium frame and Shimano gears it is a very very good bike.

The riding position is designed so as to be not too upright therefore allowing you to fully generate good riding power but it is not too stretched out, meaning it won't break your back!! It is well balanced which allows you to ride at a very swift pace with minimal effort and fatigue over long distances. The bike comes with a rigid fork which suprisingly doesn't alert you to this fact when riding on bumpy surfaces.The design of the bike allows isolation from these so there is minimal transference of vibrations etc to you through the handlebars etc. Other benefits come from the large diameter tyres which run a medium pressure allowing these to absorb bumps and ruts quite effectively.This is a great bike for commuting or touring.
