Giant Suede City in Medium or Large sizes only.

It may not be that obvious without it being pointed out to you, but the Giant Suede is almost unique in one area of its design and it is this one point that contributed so greatly to the ease and comfort experienced by the rider. This feature is the positioning of the saddle which as can be seen in the photo is well behind the pedals, whereas nearly every other bike has the saddle positioned above the pedals. This change to the seating position allows the rider to sit comfortably on the saddle and yet still place both feet on the ground, which many people find more reassuring than the tippy toes situation of other bikes. Combined with the adjustable headstem and high rise handlebars this relaxed seating position means the rider can sit back (almost arm chair like), without hunching over leaning forward at all. 

These features are shared throughout the Suede range, but the Suede City also has an alloy pannier rack, mudguards and most distinctively internal hub gears which is a great benefit with regard to cleanliness and in lowering the ongoing maintenance costs of the bike.

Ideal as a city bike, at home on paths or the road, and ideally suited to those riders who may feel more confident being able to place their feet on the ground.
