Giant Anthem X3. 2012.

The 2012 Giant Anthem X3 shares the same high quality low weight frame as the more expensive models in the Anthem range. Made from Giants time proven ALUXX SL aluminium, the frame tubing is shaped using fluid forming to maximise frame strength and to keep weight to a minimum. These attributes are desireable in most forms of cycling, but particularly off road where the impacts are the most severe and where the least amount of weight that has to be hauled to the top of the next hill the better.  

The Maestro suspension system with 4" of travel at front and rear courtesy of the Rock Shox forks and rear shock works like a charm and riders will enjoy the benefits of a plush ride without the bobbing often associated with dual suspension bikes.  

Assembled with one eye on price and another on quality, the Anthem X3 hosts a nice blend of SRAM, Avid and Giant components culminating in a bike that will take you anywhere, is great to ride and doesn't cost a small fortune to get onto.
