This is a brand new model for 2012 and is the only Composite bike offered in a female specific version.

The Giant Avail Composite 3 is a female specific road bike with a lightweight composite frame built especially with the proportions of women in mind. Not just a guys bike painted a pretty colour, but actually built to suit a womans body size and shape. The frame dimensions are designed so that a woman can easily, comfortably and safely ride the bike without having to adapt to the dimensions of a mens bike. Apart from the frame itself, the components are also female specific with the cranks (pedal arms) being shorter, the handlebars narrower and shallower (so you dont have to reach so far), the brake levers adjustable to suit shorter fingers and the saddle is also gender specific. Gone are the days when you had to accept a gents bike with a shorter head stem. Overall, this means that a lady can have a bike that is really comfortable, and not have to put up with the "closest fit".
