The Mongoose Shredder NX3 is the perfect mountain bike for a slightly built young cyclist, looking to keep up with the family, whilst not having to struggle with some of the other heavier models. This is due to the superlight alloy frame, the rigid front forks and the all over weight saving design of the Shredder NX3. It is the lightest 24" boys mountain bike we carry.

The Shredder is also super simple to operate with a Shimano Nexus 3 Speed gearing system, that is all internal, meaning your little rider can change gears anytime, even when not pedalling, and you never have to worry about their chain falling off! The alloy wheels and stainless steel spokes help keep rust at bay, while the wide, nobby tires will give grip on any terrain.
