GT have produced this high quality girls bike. It has a lightweight frame,in fact both the wheels and frame are made of aluminium, it is the lightest bike I know of . It tends to have a slightly longer frame than most BMX's, so it will last her a little longer.  It is ideal for a slightly bigger girl, say around 2 years old. The Giant or Xds are probably better for a very small girl of around 2 years. The quality of the Gt Laguna is great, this bike could be handed down from one child to another, it will easily survive 3 kids. Because it is made of aluminium there is very little that can rust on the bike, even when it is left abandoned in the garden overnight (not that our kids would do that). 

It actually comes with white training wheels, on the bikes we have.
