Dark and stealthy, the 2010 Giant Seek 2 draws upon all the exciting new design features embodied in the top-of-the range Seek 1 and offers it at a price that your hip-pocket will smile at! With the same light weight ALUXX SL aluminium frame used in the Seek 1, this superior alloy offers 18% more tensile strength than Giant's other proprietary alloy, ALUXX. The end result? A frame made of thin-walled tubing that is both light and agile while retaining all the strength and durability of a heavier frame. The Giant Seek 2 incoporates the same fluid, rigid fork and frame design of the higher model, the same broad spread of 27 gears using quality Shimano components including mechanical disc brakes for the rider who seeks (no pun intended!) superior braking performance in all weather.

Far from being the Seek family's 'black sheep', this bike offers all the Seek 1's practical features, including:

*reflective bands around the front forks and rear stays of the frame give an added level of visibility;

* an additional set of anti-theft skewers for the wheels provides additional security for your wheels when the bike is locked in town or on campus.

*robust, double-walled alloy rims means less problems when you hit the occassional (or not-so) pot-hole in the road, and offer the support needed for those that want to add a rack and carry extra weight on the back.
