The GT Traffic range of bikes targets those who find themselves wanting a bike suited to city riding, but with the strength, durability and comfort of something a little more versatile. Through its lightweight alloy frame and rigid front fork the Traffic 2.0 is a friend to all those with a short to medium distance commute looking for reliability and stability when riding, but with enough speed to ensure a commute doesn't take all day.

The Shimano Alivio gearing is generous but not ridiculous, providing an easy transition up and down the cassette, with a range of gears bound to satisfy nearly all riders. The wheels are identical to those found on the Traffic's off road cousin the GT Transeo, and with double wall rims for strength on the inside, and Schwable puncture resistant tyres on the outside, you can be sure you will spend your time riding your bike not pushing it. The V-brakes ensure a consistent stop everytime, while reducing weight when compared to disc brake options on some other models.

Lastly, in keeping with the urban theme of this bike GT has attached its patented Pinhead system to the bike's front and rear axles, and the seat post, making theft of wheels and seat and distant fear. This is thanks to the unique pattern of the locking mechanisms to each of these parts of the bicycle where only the key provided with the bike is capable of unlocking them (but don't worry replacements are available if they get misplaced!)
